RELEARN Suderbyn implements long-term and short-term volunteering projects in order to stimulate European youth’s engagement in positive change, foster interpersonal solidarity and cooperation, and open up the ecovillage experience where participants can improve their fundamental skills for a more resilience.
is a Swedish NGO working to provide non-formal education and a chance to experience an alternative, more environmentally and socially sustainable lifestyle. Besides other international and local projects, we have been working with the European Solidarity Corps' (ESC) volunteering programs, both to give volunteers a chance to experience what living in Suderbyn Ecovillage is like, as well as helping Swedish residents find ESC volunteering opportunities in other parts of the world. With the support of European Solidarity Corps funding, we have been hosting the year-long volunteering programme "Green Skills" for more than 10 years now, as well as other shorter volunteering opportunities. |
